1. What is luggage shipping?

Luggage shipping is a travel service that provides next day shipping of common luggage item, sports equipment, and miscellaneous items. By forwarding your luggage, you can escape the headache of taking your luggage to the airport, checking your baggage, paying high fees, and hauling items to your destination. Luggage Express = piece of mind and ease of travel.


2. How much does shipping my bags ahead cost?

The cost is one fixed cost for all items. $15.00 per item is our standard rate. This allows our customers to ship what and when they want without the worry of being overcharged by the airlines.


3. Can I ship non-luggage items?

Luggage Express will forward sports equipment, golf clubs, bicycles, skis, snowboards, scuba gear and more. We also ship family items such as car seats, strollers, and cribs. This is also not limited to miscellaneous items and boxing for any occasion.


4. What are the advantages of shipping my luggage with Luggage Express?

Luggage Express provides you with a premier shipping service while eliminating the aggravation of airport check-in. We know that the economy is tough right now on everyone especially the traveling public, it is our goal to ease our customers travel options by offering them low prices and convenience to aid in our ailing financial system.


5. Is there a limit to the number of bags or a weight limit per bag?

Unlike the airlines, there is no limit to the number of bags you can ship. There are no maximum weight limits.


6. What if my luggage arrives late?

Luggage Express will discount the shipping charge for any item that arrives late due to the fault of Luggage Express and itŐs agents by 20%. We do not waive charges for shipments delayed because of special circumstances such as weather, and acts of God.


7. How much is my luggage insured for?

Luggage Express includes a $500 domestic insurance policy on the contents of each bag.


8. What does the insurance cover?

The insurance covers lost or damaged luggage. Normal wear and tear that can be expected from transit or any commercial trip is not covered. Luggage Express will reimburse our customers the declared value if luggage is lost or damaged.


9. Can I purchase additional insurance?

You can purchase additional insurance at $1.00 per $100.00 of declared value per bag. There is a maximum limit of $3,000.00 per bag.


10. Is there a cancellation policy?

There is a one time charge of $10.00 should a customer cancel his/her order after the items have been checked at the drop off location.
